Today’s Family received 539 Family Fun Backpacks!

These backpacks were provided to us by The City of Hamilton, in partnership with Affiliated Services for Children and Youth for families and children up to 4 years of age.

All of our Hamilton Licensed Child Care Centres, Licensed Home Child Care Centres, and Hamilton EarlyON Child and Family Centre locations were fortunate to receive these backpacks.

The backpacks contained some or all of the following materials: paper, crayons, paints, pastels, clay, a magnifying glass, a beanie animal, an O-ball and scarf, a scoop, and a children’s book.

Our EarlyON program will incorporate the Family Fun Backpacks in an upcoming virtual session. Such wonderful opportunities for our families and children to explore the materials and learn through play!
