Infant Massaging programs are coming to select EarlyON Centres in Hamilton, and we would love to see you get involved.
The International Association of Infant Massage will be conducting workshops based around teaching parents a new tool to add to their baby-raising arsenal, one that is focused on gentle touch to relax and build bonds with their child.
Like most massages, the purpose is to promote general wellness and relaxation. Infant massages can help babies fall asleep more regularly (which has the added bonus of letting you sleep better), as well as relax and de-stress. Regular massages also stimulate infants’ neurological development.
But the largest benefit might be the bond that Infant Massages create between parent and child. Infant Massages offer a beautiful period of learning about each other. Parents take this opportunity to better connect with their baby, acclimatizing them to a warm and loving touch and learning how to communicate with each other in a loving way.
Infant Massages can have physical benefits, too. Infant Massages can relieve you baby’s constipation, and ease colic pain (when there’s a buildup of gas in the abdomen).
Courses consist of five sessions taken over the course of five weeks. If you are interested in learning more about Infant Massage classes at EarlyON Centres in Hamilton and Halton contact us through our website, or find your nearest EarlyON Centre here and contact them directly.
