Is there a more divisive fruit than pineapple? It’s been a controversial pizza topping for decades, but here at Today’s Family, we love the vitamin-c loaded tropical fruit, especially as part of our yummy Hawaiian Chicken Wraps.
Start with a flavourful mayo-based sauce, with chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and sugar, then stick it in the fridge until needed. This creamy condiment is the ideal compliment to the juicy chicken and pineapple combination.
Then, cook your chicken. Sauté with diced red peppers and yellow onion, then drain and mix in the star of the show: pineapple. The pineapple juice will add a lot of flavour to the chicken and vegetables, infusing the entire wrap with tropical ‘oomph’.

These wraps make a perfect summer entrée for kids: they’re packed with sweet flavours, but also contain the nutrients that children need to grow strong and healthy bones. With plenty of Vitamin C as well, these wraps are a great healthy option for dinner.
