Recipe: Michele’s Cheesy Tuna Gnocchi

Are you having one of those days where you’re craving 2 different things at once? Like peanut butter, but also pickles? What about Mac and Cheese, but you also want Italian food? We’ve got you!

Michele tried out this new recipe this week and it was absolutely delicious! For this gorgeous plate, Michele went ahead and topped the gnocchi with fresh tomatoes and chives for added vitamins, fibre and flavour. Yum!

Today’s Family’s Cheesy Tuna Gnocchi



  • 250g ready-made potato gnocchi
  • 125g tinned cream corn
  • 2 tbsp extra light sour cream (or you could use Greek yogurt!)
  • 96g tin white tuna
  • 1-2 tbsp milk of your choice
  • 1 ½ cups cheese of your choice (Michele used marble cheddar)

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes

Step One:

Cook the gnocchi in boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and put into a baking dish.

Step Two:

Combine the corn, sour cream and tuna in a small frying pan and stir over medium heat until heated through. Add enough milk to the tuna mixture to reach the consistency of thickened cream.

Step Three:

Pour sauce evenly over the gnocchi and sprinkle with cheese.

Step Four:

Place in your oven set to Broil until golden brown and melted.
