When we talked about our Winter Camps earlier in the month, it was to let you know that registration had just opened. Well, it’s been a few weeks, and the available slots are starting to dwindle faster than the hours of sunshine every day.
REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN FOR 2019-20 WINTER DAY CAMP SESSIONS!
This year, we’re offering two sessions, from December 23 – 27, and December 30 – January 3. Find more information about your local camp program by clicking through this link.
Here are a few of our favourite activities we’ll be putting on during our second week session at all of our camp locations:
Capture the Snow Flag!
You may have played “Capture the Flag” before, but this winter-themed game takes the classic contest and cranks it up to eleven! Before they can capture the flag, they’ll have to find it. That’s because these flags are camouflaged to blend into a winter wonderland.
A Trip to Crawford Lake!
We’re going on a field trip! Today’s Family has chartered buses to take our Winter Day Campers to the Crawford Lake Conservation Area, where they will get to learn about Indigenous heritage and First Nations culture inside a reconstructed Longhouse Village! After lunch, campers will explore the conservation area on an exploratory hike!
