As we get close to the end of 2020, the Today’s Family blog wanted to take some time and highlight our four main child care programs. No matter the unique needs, we have a program that will work for you, your children, and your family!
Today, we wanted to highlight one of our most visible child care programs at Today’s Family: our Early Learning and Child Care Centres. We have seven centres across Hamilton, Halton, and Haldimand and Norfolk, offering programs for infants up to school-age.
These centres are open Monday to Friday, from 7AM to 6PM. Staffed by Early Childhood Educators, our centre-based programs are focused on the well-being, engagement, expression and a sense of belonging for all children
Centre-based learning is incredibly beneficial for young children. Children learn and develop valuable socialization skills as they play and learn with their peers. Our centres are equipped with a wide variety of materials and activities that stimulate young minds and provide countless learning opportunities. When guided by our Early Childhood Educators, centre-based learning is a formational and poisitve experience.
Readers of this blog will be aware of our love of outdoor learning and physical play. Centre programs all emphasize outdoor play and exploration. Weather permitting, our children have been well known to run around and play outside, finding bugs and interesting plants to discover and explore.
