As we get close to the end of 2020, the Today’s Family blog wanted to take some time and highlight our four main child care programs. No matter the unique needs, we have a program that will work for you, your children, and your family!
Licensed Home Child Care offers a range of services including full-time, part-time, shift, weekend, and emergency care. This child care option provides a small group setting within the Provider’s home for up to six children from infancy to twelve years of age.
The Provider’s homes are visited regularly by Early Childhood Educators to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, nutrition and child development are met. Each resident in the home must participate in the screening process.
Providers are trained through our on-site workshops and operate under the professional guidance and supervision of a Today’s Family Licensed Child Care Visitor.
Home Child Care offers a flexible and very personal level of child care. Among the many advantages of this type of care are the small child to Provider ratios, the informal group settings, and easy access to the service within, or very near, the child’s neighbourhood.
Parents can choose from many ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Altogether, our caregivers speak a total of 21 different languages. We can help you find the licensed home child care that’s right for your values, your traditions, and your family.
