We know that this time of year is an incredibly busy one for most of our families, no matter your traditions or practices, so we’ll keep today’s blog post short! Today, we want to talk about our EarlyON Child and Family Centre programs.
Today’s Family is proud to help facilitate several EarlyON Child and Family Centres throughout Hamilton. EarlyON is a free, drop-in program that offers families and their children up to 6 years old the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of child care programs and activities. If this sounds a little familiar, it’s because we have talked about EarlyON before on the blog.
But while we can talk about the excellent EarlyON programs, perks, and classes – such as infant massage classes and healthy snacks – we know that words can’t always capture the feel of a child care program. Luckily, the City of Hamilton just published a video about EarlyON Child and Family Centres in our city!

EarlyON programs – which, like Today’s Family programs, emphasize learning through play – are a wonderful way for young children to meet and interact with other people not in their immediate family. They foster interpersonal relationship skills, which enable young children to develop healthy relationships as they grow older.
And sometimes, it’s good to ask a trained Early Childhood Educator questions about Early Childhood Education without having to commit to a more regular or expensive program.
All these benefits, and more, are covered in the video above. We highly recommend watching it to get a better idea of how an EarlyON program really works or can benefit your family.
We are rapidly approaching the start of not only a new year, but a whole new decade. This January, make visiting an EarlyON program one of your New Year Resolutions.
